Engineer by obsession. SWE, cyclist, self-hoster, occasional open source contributor.
Digging into how things work at scale, building and breaking things to understand the process in depth. Having fun extending engineering into daily life. Recently built Picnix to make trip planning less painful. Writing about backend performance, LLM systems, and whatever else I learn along the way.
I'm a backend engineer from Kerala. I write Python — FastAPI, Django, Postgres, Redis and whatever the problem actually needs.
Most of my real learning comes from my work as a backend engineer, my college life at CUSAT where I tried building a startup and led tech clubs, and from freelancing and internships along the way. I organized Make-A-Ton 7.0, South India's largest hackathon — equal parts chaos and genuinely fun.
I have contributed to devb.io, an open-source developer bio platform, which made top 10 at FOSSHack 2025. I self-host Ente Photos with redundant backups and run a few other experiments on my homelab.
If I'm not at the laptop, I'm on a cycle 🚴
